A NOTICE ON THE UPCOMING PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS IN SERBIA
In order to be eligilble to take part at the forthcoming presidential and parliamentary elections in Serbia, scheduled for May 6th, 2012, it is necessary that you are registered into the Central Voting List (CVL) that is regulated by the Election Commision of the Republic of Serbia. In order to check if you have already been registered into the CVL, please visit the link: www.drzavnauprava.gov.rs
If you find out that you are not registered into the CVL, please submit to this Embassy not later than April 14th, 2012, the following documents:
1. Request for registration into CVL (link)
2. Request for voting from outside of Serbia (link)
3. A copy of your valid Serbian ID card, Serbian passport, or Serbian driving license.
If you realize that you are registered into the CVL, please submit to the Embassy not later than April 14th, 2012 the following documents:

2. A copy of your valid Serbian ID card, Serbian passport, or Serbian driving license.
The afore mentioned requests can be submitted to the Embassy in one of the following ways:
- directly (personally) at the Embassy
- by fax at No. 1-613-233-7850,
- by E-mail at diplomat@serbianembassy.ca
Please notify that, when fulfiling the requests, you need to specify the name of the city (town) in Canada which you would like to vote from. The final decision about establishing a polling station in your city will be brought by General Election Commision of the Republic of Serbia and it depends on the number of registered voters for that city (minimum is 100 voters).
In accordance with the Canadian regulations, the elections will be organized only in the premises of the Serbian diplomatic/consular posts, i.e. Embassy in Ottawa, Consulat General in Toronto, and Consulat in Vancouver.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Please be advised that as of 1st of June 2010, visa's will not be issued the same day when it was submitted. In addition, all visa applications will require prior consent from the government authorities in the Republic of Serbia. We ask all applicants to plan their submission of visa application accordingly.
Radio Television Serbia - Satellite program for Canada
Coordinates for reception of RTS Satellite program for Canada are: AMC 4: 12.120,00 Mhz. Vertical polirization FEC 3/4. In order to get reception from the AMC 4 satellite, you will need the following: corresponding satellite receptor (depending on location, look at map and table; the dBW 3A 3 dBW must be reduced in case of inclement weather), any commercial digital satellite receptor which can decode 4:2:0 DVB MPEG 2.
