VISA ISSUANCE

Visa is not required for Canadian citizens traveling to Republic of Serbia, if you do not have a national passport and are traveling with an Canadian Travel Document visa is required.
Please check ( www.mfa.gov.rs ) to see if you need a visa to travel to the Republic of Serbia.
If you are mailing in your visa request, the tax fees are payable via money order payable to the Embassy of Republic of Serbia in Ottawa. Along with the request, you need to forward a self-addressed return envelope with affixed appropriate postage.
I VISA C (visa for a stay of up to 90 days)
Visa for a short stay is issued for tourist, business and other travel, for one, two or more entries into the Republic of Serbia.
Continuous residence of an alien with a short stay visa, or a total length of consecutive stays, can not exceed 90 days within a period of six months from the date of first entry.
Visa for a short stay with multiple entries shall be issued with a validity period of up to one year, while the members of foreign diplomatic or consular missions, on condition of reciprocity, may be issued visas with a longer validity period.
Required documents:
1. Valid passport (passport must be valid for at least 90 days from the visa issue date).
2. Completed Visa Application Form LINK (form must be filled out clearly, in printed letters; the applicant must fill all columns/questions and state correct residential address in Canada. For minor children the form is filled and signed by their parents, attached by the copy of their passports and the copy of Marriage certificate )
3. Photo (Size 3,5cm x 4,5 cm)
4. Invitation letter – not older than 6 months.
For a private visit, a certified invitation letter from a relative or a friend from Serbia is required, ( LINK - Inv. letter).
If applying for a business visa, please enclose an official invitation from the company in Serbia,
stating the nature of the business, expected duration of the visit as well as the name and address of the company or institution you are visiting. ( LINK - Inv. letter).
5. Proof of residence in Canada (Visa, Working Permit, Student’s Visa).
6. Proof of sufficient funds for staying in Serbia.
7. Return ticket or Itinerary (photocopy of International Driving License, Title and Insurance if you are traveling by car).
8. Stamped, self-addressed return envelope with pre-paid return postage (envelope is not required if applying in person at the Embassy)
a) Fees and actual costs for a visa are 98,00 CAD. If the request is sent by mail it should contain money order in the amount of 98,00 CAD. The visa application fee is non- refundable. If the visa is not approved by the Ministry the applicant will be refunded only the amount of 3,00 CAD.
b) Citizens of Armenia, China, Mali, Pakistan, Syria and Ukraine pay only actual and handling costs for visa issuance in the amount of 7,00 CAD . If the request is sent by mail , money order in the amount of 7,00 CAD should be enclosed.
c) Citizens of the United Arab Emirates pay a fee in the amount of 245,00 CAD. If the request is submitted by mail it should contain money order in the amount of 245,00 CAD.
Note: Incomplete applications can not be taken into consideration and will be returned to the applicants at their own expense.
II VISA B (Transit visa)
A transit visa is issued to all foreigners planning for a single, double or multiple transits through the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
A transit visa is valid for up to six months in addition; the duration of stay in the country per one transit shall not exceed five days.
A transit visa may be issued to a foreigner who has a visa to enter the country they are visiting or through whose territory they are continuing the travel, if they are not exempt from obtaining such a visa by an international agreement.
Required documents:
1. Valid passport (passport must be valid for at least 90 days from the visa issue date).
2. Completed Visa Application Form LINK (form must be filled out clearly, in printed letters; the applicant must fill all columns/questions and state correct residential address in Canada. For minor children the form is filled and signed by their parents, attached by copy of passports and copy of Marriage certificate)
3. Photo (Size 3,5 cm x 4,5 cm)
4. Entry visa to the country to which you are traveling. If visa is not required for that country, other proof of stay in said country is required.
5. Proof of residence in Canada (Visa, Working Permit, Student’s Visa).
6. Proof of sufficient funds for staying in Serbia.

III VISA D (Visa for temporary residence – more than 90 days)
Visa for temporary residence is a permit for entry and temporary stay of foreigners in the Republic of Serbia.
If a foreigner intends to stay more than 90 days in the Republic of Serbia, they will be obligated to obtain the visa D, or to obtain the permission for temporary residence from the competent authority during their stay in the Republic of Serbia.
Required documents:
1. Valid passport (passport must be valid for at least 90 days from the visa issue date).
2. Completed Visa Application Form LINK (form must be filled out clearly, in printed letters; the applicant must fill all columns/questions and state correct residential address in Canada. For minor children the form is filled and signed by their parents, attached by copy of passports and copy of Marriage certificate)
